Forestry Mulching / Bush Hogging

Forestry mulching is a land clearing method that uses a specialized machine to grind trees, brush, and vegetation into mulch on the spot, leaving a nutrient-rich layer on the ground that helps prevent erosion and regrowth. It’s efficient, eco-friendly, and ideal for clearing underbrush, maintaining trails, or managing overgrown lots without disturbing the soil structure. Bush hogging, on the other hand, uses a rotary cutter attached to a tractor to mow tall grass, thick weeds, and light brush over large areas quickly. While bush hogging is great for pasture maintenance and overgrown fields, it doesn’t mulch or eliminate stumps like forestry mulching, making it better suited for routine vegetation control rather than full-scale clearing.
